Sample development status

ABC Software is developing an upgrade for its software program for accountants. Programming is still underway and the company is writing a plan to obtain financing. The outline below illustrates what needs to be done on the product's development before it is ready for marketing. The dates are the schedule ABC will maintain provided it obtains the capital it needs. This outline divides responsibilities by department. If your staff is more limited than that of ABC, you may still want to divide task by discipline in order to make sure your list of tasks is complete. Keep in mind that a change in one date could affect the rest of your schedule.
